Repair Roof at Child Care Facility, Palmdale, CA

  • Scope of work included demolition of existing roofing system down to decking, installation of new 80 mil TPO membrane roofing system, installation of a portable guardrail system along the entire perimeter edges of the roof, installation of TPO walkways, trimming adjacent trees and construction of a new lightning protection/grounding system

  • Project was performed at an active, occupied child care facility used by air traffic controllers and their facilities, requiring work to take place during nighttime hours to mitigate safety hazards to children and other users

  • Taking place during the stormy autumn months, this project required pro-active coordination to prevent weather intrusion and damage to facility equipment

Repair Boneyard Roof, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ

  • Scope of work included repairing a roof at a reclamation facility. Work consisted of removing and replacing galvanized roof panels, roof-panel seam fasteners, power-washing the surface and seams, applying a new roof coating, and repairing numerous roof-panel penetrations

  • Project occurred at the “Boneyard” – a facility for long-term storage and maintenance of Air Force aircraft and missiles

  • Work was performed in five distinct phases to minimize disrupting the users’ on-going mission requirements

Roofing at Multiple Sites throughout Southern California

  • Scope of work included priming roof surfaces and constructing a three-pound density foam over the roof surface. The project also providing silicone coating and granules, as well as removing and replacing lightning-protection systems,

  • Project took place at FAA facilities at four remote locations scattered throughout the southern California desert
