Scope of work included road repairs and erosion-control construction for a road leading up a remote mountain site near Palm Springs, CA
Project involved pulverizing, grading, and paving more than 84,600 square feet of asphalt, as well as providing earthen swales, berms, and inlet/out structure to mitigate damage caused by the area’s rare but powerful rainstorms
Work was performed in close coordination with local FAA personnel to minimize downtime to the VOR that provides navigational assistance to air traffic in the local airspace
